Maricopa CC Employees Earn NAU Master’s In Educational Leadership

Northern Arizona University offers a Master of Education in Educational Leadership with a Community College/ Higher Education emphasis to Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) employees. This spring, a cohort of 15 MCCCD employees graduated with their master’s degrees.

The Educational Leadership degree with Community College/Higher Education emphasis is designed for those who want to advance in the administration of higher education institutions. Students learn program administration and leadership skills that are directly applicable to their careers. NAU works with MCCCD to tailor course content to emerging district and industry trends.

The program takes 30 credit hours to complete, all of which can be taken online. While continuing to work full-time, MCCCD employees can earn their NAU master’s degree in one-two years.
