Northern Arizona University’s Master of Education Leadership program now offers a Community College & Higher Education (CCHE) emphasis that is available entirely online and only requires 30 credit hours of coursework.

NAU’s new M.Ed. program is designed to prepare graduates for administrative, training or leadership roles at community colleges and four-year universities as well as at for-profit and non-profit organizations. Learn more at

Most M.Ed. programs require 36 credits of coursework. The 30-credit requirement of NAU’s online program allows students to earn a degree in as little as one year (two semesters and a summer).

The CCHE program can be completed entirely online, allowing students to earn a degree while earning a living. Classes are in a 7-week asynchronous format and students can begin this M.Ed. program at almost anytime. Financial aid is available for eligible graduate students enrolled in six credits or more.
